Roz has held several executive roles in Operations, HR, Training, and General Management with both local and global franchised brands, and as such has had great exposure to international best practices and in leading and developing teams. She has owned her own business twice in her career and so knows and understands the journey of a business owner.

Roz has an Honours Degree in Industrial Psychology, is a qualified coach, and has attended numerous other development programs throughout her career. She is a qualified Instructional Designer and has created engaging training material for numerous clients.

Her business experience includes holding the positions of HR Manager (Tsogo Sun and Sun International), Human Resources Director and Operations & Training Director (McDonald’s SA), COO (Kauai), and Managing Executive (Domino’s Pizza, Taste Holdings). Her business journeys included owning a recruitment agency and then later in her career, a consulting, coaching, and training business. 

Roz has gained an in-depth knowledge of general business operations, franchising, human resources, and leadership through the various roles that she has held and is passionate about equipping others with skills and knowledge, drawing strongly on her broad experience.

Lesley-Caren is an engaging trainer and has more than 20 years of experience as a consultant and trainer in the franchising sector. She has trained small- to medium-size business owners in management, finance, customer service, and basic business skills and has mentored SME business owners as part of an Enterprise and Supplier Development Programme for one of South Africa’s leading banks. Her experience spans a wide variety of industries, including the hospitality, retail, beauty, signage, motor, farming, educational, consulting, financial services, and food industries. 

She has worked for, and with, some of South Africa’s best-known companies including MTN (South Africa, Uganda, and Rwanda), West Pack Lifestyle, Woolworths, TOTAL South Africa, Col’Cacchio Pizzeria, Vodacom, City Lodge Group of Hotels, Holiday Inn Hotel Corporation, Hollard, Deloitte & Touche Franchise Consulting, Jack’s Paint & Hardware, Worktrainer, Chip ‘n Dip, Liberty and the DCM Group. 

Lesley-Caren is also the Founder and Owner of Wordsparks Consultancy and Co-Founder of the Herding Cats Franchise Management Platform. She helps companies develop and streamline their management procedures, processes, and business administration by compiling business policies, step-by-step procedures, and other resources, which are all made available online.

Palesa Rasenyalo is a presenter and trainer who has an immense passion for speaking, educating, and empowering others.

With an extensive background in franchising, she offers insight into the ins and outs of the franchising environment and is extremely knowledgeable about how to manage some of the challenges that arise within the industry.

As a facilitator, Palesa assists organizations to get unstuck and navigate some of the trickiest situations, while also empowering delegates to become the best version of themselves.

She has served fellow speakers, coaches consultants, and trainers as a committee member of the KZN chapter of the Professional speakers association of Southern Africa.

She has a National Diploma in Accounting and a Post-Grad Diploma in Business Management. Palesa has worked across many industries and we are proud to have her on our team of facilitators.
